● Extrem A Diamond ●

Extrem A Diamond is a next-generation Protein A affinity resin independently developed by Bestchrom with high alkaline tolerance. Its engineered Protein A ligand can interact with the Fc region of antibodies as well as the VH region of Fab fragments, enabling the purification of a broad range of antibody formats and fragments, including monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), bispecific antibodies (bsAbs), Fc-fusion proteins, Fabs, scFvs, and VHHs.

Key features of Extrem A Diamond include:

● High dynamic binding capacity: ≥75 mg human IgG/mL packed resin at a residence time of 6 min.

● Excellent alkaline tolerance: The alkali-tolerant recombinant Protein A ligand supports CIP with 0.5–1.0 M NaOH, enabling effective cleaning and sanitization at higher caustic concentrations and supporting robust process performance.

● Mild elution: In addition to conventional low-pH elution, efficient elution can be achieved at pH 4.0–4.5, making the resin suitable for low-pH-sensitive molecules while helping improve product purity and reduce aggregate levels.

● Good pressure–flow performance: The highly cross-linked matrix provides low backpressure and supports operation at high flow rates, helping improve process efficiency and meet the requirements of large-scale manufacturing.
