Extrem A Diamond

Extrem A Diamond is Bestchrom's next-generation alkali-resistant Protein A affinity resin designed for antibody purification. The recombinant Protein A ligand binds not only to the Fc region of antibodies but also to the VH domain of Fab fragments, enabling efficient purification of a broad range of antibody formats, including monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, Fc-fusion proteins, Fab fragments, scFv, and VHH molecules.

High Dynamic Binding Capacity

At a residence time of 6 minutes, the dynamic binding capacity at 10% breakthrough (DBC@10%BT) exceeds 75 mg/mL, supporting efficient antibody capture and high process productivity.

Excellent Alkali Stability

The alkali-tolerant recombinant Protein A ligand allows routine cleaning-in-place (CIP) with 0.5–1.0 M NaOH, enabling effective resin sanitization under harsh cleaning conditions while maintaining process robustness.

Mild Elution Performance

In addition to conventional low-pH elution, efficient product recovery can be achieved at pH 4.0–4.5. This feature is particularly beneficial for acid-sensitive molecules and may help improve product quality while reducing aggregate formation.

Excellent Pressure–Flow Characteristics

The highly cross-linked matrix provides low back pressure and supports operation at elevated flow rates, helping improve manufacturing efficiency and facilitating process scale-up.
