Diamond Blue Mustang is a kind of affinity resin based on high rigidity agarose in fine beads. The ligand is Cibacron Blue 3GA, which has the characteristics of physical and chemical stability, low ligand leakage possibility, long service life and a wide range of applications. The resin can bind proteins through specific interactions, as well as non-specific interactions via electric charges. Diamond Blue Mustang has been widely used in the separation and purification of various proteins, including dehydrogenase, kinase, transferase, serum albumin, interferon and plasma proteins.
Compared to Blue Bestarose HP resin, Diamond Blue Mustang can withstand higher pressures and is suitable for rapid processing of large volumes samples.
